Baby Gift #2

I can finally post this quilt since it’s been gifted to its sweet new owner!

These colors just make me so happy!

I gave this quilt to my sweet friend Amy’s baby. My sister made her older daughter a quilt so I made little sister one 😍 I hope she enjoys it for many years to come and knows that it was made with love! Her mommy said she couldn’t believe how much time I spent on it for her little baby, but no time is wasted or lost if you’re making something for someone you love ❤️ This is the same pattern I did for the last two quilts I’ve posted, a simple three strip set cut into squares with sashing added. It’s also the third quilt I made out of that one jelly roll of Happy Day fabric by Riley Blake!

Julie did a wonderful job quilting this one!

I picked out the perfect binding at Gina’s Bernina (Farragut, TN) with the help of the wonderful ladies who work there!

I also purchased the backing at Gina’s Bernina! Love the fun floral print for a baby girl!

I’m so glad I was able to get this quilt finished in time! Julie got it quilted in record time (thank you so much!) and I was able to do the binding at home and in the truck on out weekend travels to the feed store.
